Entry Open June 6 - Septmber 14, 2022

The North American Hairstyling Awards ® is the most prestigious professional beauty competition in North America and honors the salon industry’s top artists – who push the boundaries of skill and creativity.

For over 30 years, thousands of talented artists have used NAHA as a platform to showcase their work to win a coveted NAHA award.

CATEGORIES & rules

The NAHA 2023 entry categories are here! Browse the categories, choose which one you think will highlight your talents and artistry the best, read through the rules and download release forms.

Know an Educator or Inspiring Salon of the Year who deserves to be recognized? Nominate them!

entry TIP

Be mindful of the category you are entering - not all collections belong in multiple categories. While entering the same photographs into multiple categories is allowed for some categories (please refer to the specific category requirements when entering), submitting your collection into too many categories is likely to dilute your chances of sticking out in one.

Do your homework and direct the process to create a unique look and feel for your collection based on the category you plan to enter.

THE NAHA remix

Revisit and reinvent a previously entered collection! Everything looks different through the prism of today, so why not give your work a remake? Maybe your work was too ahead of its time, you applied too much filtering which made it hard to see the detail of the work, or your post-production work went a bit past the PBA guidelines. Whatever the reason, this is your second chance to take that collection that you know is NAHA quality and give it a new life for 2023!
